By using the app, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Our "Local-First" philosophy ensures your data stays exactly where it belongs: with you.
Local-First Data Storage
Our app is designed to function primarily offline. Most of your data is stored directly on your hardware.
Your Habits
All names, schedules, and completion logs are stored on your local device storage.
Your Savings
Financial data related to habits is kept locally and never synced to external servers.
Relapse Insights
Personal reflections and triggers are encrypted on-device for your eyes only.
Third-Party Services
We use a limited number of trusted third-party services to provide core functionality and maintain the quality of the app experience.
In-App Purchases
RevenueCat manages subscriptions and purchase verification.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
Used for free users. No personal habit data is ever shared with advertisers.
Analytics (Firebase)
Anonymous telemetry to help us understand which features are most used.
App Tracking Transparency
Habitless uses the Google AdMob SDK to show advertisements. We comply with Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. If you grant permission, we use device identifiers to provide relevant ads. If you decline, your habit data remains 100% private and local, and ads will simply be less personalized. We do not link your personal habits to your advertising identity.
Children’s Privacy
Habitless is rated 18+ on the App Store due to references to alcohol, tobacco, and substance use. This app is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take necessary actions.
Your Rights
Right to Access
All your data is visible within the app's export settings at any time.
Right to Deletion
Simply deleting the app removes all local data. You can also clear iCloud data via app settings.
Data Portability
Export your habit history to CSV or JSON formats whenever you want.
